I decided to buy the couple’s lunch behind me in line at Moe’s today.

Not a huge deal, I just asked the lady at the counter to tack their bill onto mine.

It was simple and they had no idea!

The couple went on and on about how they couldn’t believe someone had bought their meal! They were confused and as the waitress said ….“so incredibly happy!”

After eating my meal, I went back up to thank the waitress working at Moe’s and she said to me, “What is this? Why is everyone doing this?”

I proceeded to talk to her and it just so happens, she has seen people buying other’s food a lot in the past few weeks!

This blew me away!

Then she went on to tell me how she was so moved by mine and other’s generosity that she was going to do it too! The next time she ate out, she was going to buy someone’s meal just from seeing how happy it made the receivers of the gift.

What an incredible picture of generosity.

I am encouraged and challenged by this call to live generously. I am reminded that while I can’t change the entire world, I can at least impact one person’s world for a day. And that is what I believe Jesus calls us to do.

Honored to be apart of this awesome story and thankful for this campaign.
